Liz Ungless has been playing with sugar for over 40 years and it is about as opposite as you could get from her old day job as a computer programmer. Liz has been teaching and demonstrating for over 30 years and travels regularly throughout the UK and overseas to share her knowledge.
Born in Scotland, Liz lived in Africa for 26 years and this is where she discovered the world of sugarcraft. Having been taught by some of South Africa’s best teachers, she began with royal icing and progressed to the wonderful art of sugar flowers. After returning to the UK in 1992, Liz immediately began demonstrating flowers to the various sugarcraft clubs in East Anglia and has been visiting some of them on a yearly basis for over 20 years.
Since semi-retiring from full time work some 17 years ago, Liz has been running Sugar Design and is a multiple gold flower award winner with a number of best in Class awards.
Due to the difficulty of obtaining local sensibly priced flower and leaf veiners, she has created her own range of food grade, botanically correct, silicone veiners and matching cutters. The range began, in her husband’s words, as a few little veiners for an online course…. and soon featured veiners and cutters for over 75 different plants together with various tools to make life easier. Due to ongoing health issues, Liz has passed the veining part of Sugar Design over to Miriam at Sweet Creations, but continues to manufacture cutters and tools for flower making.

SEBASTIEN H. CUPCAKE ARTIST
Sébastien is a French food blogger and award-winning cake artist. He ranked among the 2018 Top Ten Cake Artists for France and was crowned the Cupcake Artist of the Year 2023 at the D’licious Magazine Awards (DMAs). He was also a finalist for both Cupcake and Best Cover Cake Masters Awards and was a finalist for Best Cartoon Modelling at the DMAs.
His tutorials have been published in countless magazines including the D’licious Magazine. He has participated in the French version of Bake Off: The Professionals, has given cooking advice on a French radio show called 'A Glimpse into the Fridge', as well as running 'Un Cupcake, LE webshow!' on CakeFlix TV.
He has judged many competitions such as Cake & Bake in Germany, Salon du Cake Design in France and Puglia Cake Festival in Italy.

He also publishes regular tutorials on his YouTube channel, Yeners Cake Tips, to his 350,000 subscribers and occasionally conducts workshops and demonstrations internationally.
