Welcome to D'licious Magazine

D'licious Magazine is the MUST-HAVE international cake, cookie and sugar art magazine and the name behind the D'licious Magazine Awards (DMAs). With a global readership of both hobby-bakers and professional cake artists alike, the magazine truly has something for everyone and distinguishes itself from the competition with its human interest stories, features and articles in addition to the expected tutorials and interviews.

About the magazine

Founded by editor Kelly-Jane, D'licious Magazine officially launched in January 2022 and has gone on to achieve a global readership with support from some of the biggest names in the industry such as Natalie Sideserf, Liz Marek, Tuba Geckil, Marta Hidalgo, Corinna Maguire, Tanya Ross, Dot Klerck, Vicky Teather, Fractal, Olbaa, Avalon Cakes, CakeFlix and more!

The magazine is proud to be the Media Partner for Cake International and Cake Fiesta Manila and is Creative Partners with Squires KitchenInternational Salon Culinaire and The Cake & Bake Show. D'licious Magazine is also the name behind the D'licious Magazine Awards (DMAs) which launched in autumn 2022.

The magazine itself is a monthly publication and each 100 page edition is jam-packed with amazing content comprising of interviews with cake superstars, detailed tutorials, competitions, equipment recommendations and international collaborations. Regular items including the exclusive 'Newbie & Now' feature (which showcases cake stars' first ever cakes compared to now) and the ultra popular 'Cake Up Close' (which looks at one cake or piece of sugar art in detail and shows readers how it was made) are exciting additions to the publication and the 'I Wish I'd Known That' section offers amazing tips, tricks and insider knowledge from some of the world's greatest sugar artists.

This stand-out editorial boasts regular business features consisting of supplier spotlight articles, discounts and promo codes as well as free advice and guidance from business coach and wedding expert Kate Tynan (The Cake Business Club); all of which are geared towards helping you and your cake/cookie/sugar art business flourish and thrive.

The magazine is a proud partner of A Bigger Slice: The Cake Collective - a private group dedicated to helping cake artists' become profitable and successful. Readers have free access to the group which is filled with practical tips, advice and guidance on all aspects of running a cake business including pricing, social media, websites, branding, marketing and more. Having also joined forces with The Art Cake Coach Podcast, readers can access this new podcast for cake artists, cake decorators, bakers and cake enthusiasts. 

As if that wasn't enough, the magazine's unique coverage of industry based articles, features and human interest stories really sets it apart from others in the field and offers readers something new and different. Just some of the subjects covered to date are: how to get on recommended supplier lists, the value of styled shoots, how to survive a heatwave, the first fully edible art exhibition, the 4 year old cake decorator, how to make the perfect ganache, secrets to getting your ideal clients and the dos and don't of wedding fairs.

The magazine is a celebration of both existing and upcoming talent in the sugar world and is passionate about giving artists a platform to share their work and their achievements. It is our aim to discover and share new talent with the world, celebrate this fabulous industry and give artists the recognition and recognition they deserve.

About the editor

Kelly-Jane is an international award winning cake artist from the UK, who has demonstrated and featured at Cake International and has appeared in numerous international magazines, newspapers and on TV. She has judged for the Sri Lanka Cake Awards under the guidance of Adriano Zumbo.

 

With a background in screenwriting, this former newspaper journalist and published academic author and editor, now runs D'licious Magazine and is host to several international sugar art collaborations each year.

 

Kelly Jane is also the UK Media Ambassador for The Cake Collective and in September launched a brand new cake and sugar arts awards, The D'licious Magazine Awards (DMAs). The DMAs aim to raise the profile of the cake and sugar art industry as well as recognise and highlight both new and existing talent across the globe.
